Welcome to Operation Buckeye
OPERATION BUCKEYE was formed with the sole purpose of sending boxes to our troops as a way to thank them for their efforts and to bring a touch of home to them.
The physical conditions they endure are difficult and being away from family for long periods of time is also difficult.
OPERATION BUCKEYE boxes contain food and snacks, personal hygiene items, reading materials, and good wishes of love and support.
All monies raised through letter writing campaigns, media exposure, and donations from individuals and companies are used to purchase items , supplies, and postage.
OPERATION BUCKEYE provides caring civilians the opportunity to show their appreciation and respect to the men and women of our military stationed in hostile and remote regions of the world.
Operation Buckeye News:
We are not going to pack during the months of April or May as the construction at the site will prevent us from doing so.
We will resume operations on June 28, 2008. June 14 is Flag Day, and we will be doing special promotions at several locations.
==============
We will be having a golf outing on Monday, August 18, 2008, at OSU Gray Course to raise funds to ship boxes to the troops.

ADOPT A BOX
Operation Buckeye continues to send care boxes to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. To date, 5247 boxes have been sent. The boxes contain food items, toiletries, hygiene and entertainment items, and of course Girl Scout cookies. Adopt a box is a way for individuals to show their appreciation and support for our troops. Operation Buckeye will provide the packed boxes and your $10 donation to cover the cost of postage is all that is requested. You will fill out the send label with your troops name on it, sign a thank you card (optional) and the box will be on its way.
To be a part of this, join us at Polaris Mall on Friday, June 13th from 11 to 2 or Saturday, June 14th from 11 to 4.
You can also join us at Whole Foods on Flag Day, Saturday, 11-4. All children stopping by will receive an American flag from the
Flag Lady's Flag store located at 4567 North High Street.
Donations can be made to Operation Buckeye, PO Box 1814, Westerville, Oh, 43086-1814.
